Effective Date: October 9, 2026 · Last Updated: October 11, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information SAAM Capital LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company ("SAAM Capital," "we," "us," or "our"), collects when you use the SAAM Capital website at saamcapital.com (the "Site"), our emails, and our membership services, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

SAAM Capital LLC is the business responsible for your personal information. You can reach us at admin@saamcapital.com.

Payment details. We do not collect or store card numbers, security codes, or bank details. You enter these directly on pages run by Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe also collects your billing details and uses its own cookies and device information to process payments and prevent fraud.

What we do not do. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics on the Site, and we do not track whether you open our emails or click the links in them.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide your account and membership. We use your name and email to create your account, sign you in, and show you the content your membership tier includes.

To process payments. We pass your email address to Stripe to create a billing record. Stripe handles payment; we store only the identifiers and subscription details listed above.

To send research emails. When you create an account, we email you when new research is published. If a post is above your tier, the email shows its opening and how to upgrade. We tell you this when you sign up. If you joined our earlier email-only list, we email you when new free research is published. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can switch these emails off at any time on the Account page.

To send service messages. We send sign-in links, sign-up confirmations, and important notices about your account, your billing, or changes to our terms. These are not marketing and are sent even if you unsubscribe from research emails.

To respond to you. We use contact messages only to reply to you.

To keep the Site secure and working. We use sign-in data and server logs to prevent abuse, limit repeated sign-in attempts, fix problems, and understand in general terms how the Site is used.

To meet legal obligations. We keep and disclose information where the law requires, for example tax and accounting records.

We do not use your personal information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. Cookies

The Site uses a small number of cookies that are necessary for it to work:

  • Sign-in cookies keep you signed in for up to 30 days and protect the sign-in process. Without them you cannot access your account.
  • Stripe cookies are set by Stripe on its checkout and billing pages to process payments and prevent fraud.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Because we do not track you across other websites, the Site does not change its behaviour in response to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the Site, and where the law requires:

Hostinger hosts the Site, its database, and our mailbox, and keeps server logs.

Stripe processes payments and manages billing. See stripe.com/privacy.

Resend delivers our emails (sign-in links, sign-up confirmations, research emails, and contact form messages) on our behalf.

Google confirms your identity if you choose "Continue with Google," and shares your name, email address, and profile picture with us. We also store encrypted backup copies of our database in Google Drive.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SAAM Capital, our members, or others.

Business transfer. If SAAM Capital is sold, merged, or reorganised, your information may be transferred to the new owner, who must continue to honour this policy.

6. Where Your Information Is Processed

SAAM Capital is based in the United States, and our service providers process information in the United States and other countries. If you use the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in countries whose data protection laws may differ from those where you live.

7. Data Retention

  • Account and membership information is kept while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise it within 30 days, except as noted below.
  • Billing and transaction records, and your risk acknowledgement, are kept for up to 7 years to meet tax and accounting requirements and to resolve disputes.
  • Newsletter sign-ups. If you unsubscribe, we keep your email address on a "do not email" list so that we do not contact you again. You can ask us to remove it entirely.
  • Email records are kept while you remain on our list or hold an account.
  • Contact messages are kept for up to 2 years.
  • Session records expire within 30 days of your last sign-in. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period.
  • Backup copies are kept for up to 30 days, so information you ask us to delete may remain in backups for up to 30 days after it is removed from our live systems.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), sign-in without stored passwords, and restricted access to our database. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Email choices. You can unsubscribe from research emails at any time using the link in any email, or from your Account page.

Access, correction, and deletion. You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and information. To do so, email admin@saamcapital.com from the address linked to your account. We will respond within 30 days. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription by itself, so please cancel any active subscription from your Account page first.

Portability. You can ask for your information in a commonly used electronic format.

If you live in California or another US state with a privacy law. You may have rights to know, access, correct, and delete your personal information, and not to be discriminated against for using those rights. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

If you live in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland. We process your information on these legal bases: to perform our contract with you (your account and membership); your consent (the earlier email-only list, which you can withdraw from at any time); our legitimate interests (telling account holders about new research, which you can switch off at any time, keeping the Site secure, preventing fraud, and replying to messages); and legal obligations (tax and accounting records). You also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

10. Children

The Site and our memberships are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites, such as Instagram or external financial resources. This Privacy Policy applies only to SAAM Capital. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their policies.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new "Last Updated" date and, for material changes, notify members and subscribers by email.
