Technology carried the market on Wednesday. Super Micro Computer rose 9.6% after raising its quarterly sales forecast well above estimates on demand for AI servers, reviving confidence in the AI build-out. The tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 gained 1.1%, the S&P 500 added 0.6% and the Dow rose 0.7%, while small companies in the Russell 2000 barely moved. The gains were narrow: Netflix fell 5.3% on a soft forecast and AT&T lost 6.5%, while defensive groups such as real estate and staples slipped. US crude held near $97 as Middle East risks offset hopes for US-Iran talks.
