Stocks rebounded on Monday, led by the AI and technology names that sold off last week. Anthropic's filing to go public lifted the mood around AI spending, and Nvidia, Synopsys and optical-networking makers Lumentum and Coherent rose, taking the Nasdaq 100 up 1.1% and the S&P 500 up 0.7%. Oil eased as reports of Qatari mediation between the US and Iran cooled supply fears, with WTI down 2% to $101.25. Losses were concentrated: Fair Isaac dropped 13% on renewed pressure over credit-score pricing, communication services fell 1.6%, and Brazilian stocks collapsed, with the main Brazil ETF down nearly 20% after the presidential runoff.
